Redfish - Sebastes marinus / mentella - pin bone out
Redfish is found in the northern, cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean, along the coast from Greenland to North America, and in the north-east along the coasts of Norway and Iceland.
Redfish is mainly caught in the North-East Atlantic, in the waters around Iceland, followed by Norway and Russia.
Redfish has very firm and tasty pinkish-white meat.
It is particularly good when baked, but can also be poached, stewed, roasted or cooked in foil (in the oven or on the barbecue).
